The Doddridge clan has struck roots on the european mainland.
I am James Knipp Doddridge, born on July 12, 1945 in Grayling, Michigan. I went to school in Lindsay, CA and college in Fresno, CA. Air Force service from 1964-1972 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Hahn AB, Germany. Lived in Germany ever since. Present (and final) address: Drosselweg 39, D-54293 Trier, Germany.
My Parents were Delmar Walter Doddridge, born on April 18, 1898 in Milton, Indiana, and Ruey Anise nee Knipp, born on November 19, 1903 in (Glasgow?) Kentucky.
I have three sisters: Inez Lee Beeswy (1930-1996), Diane Doddridge (Sonora, CA, born 1932) and Claire ImBler (Caldwell, Idaho, born 1934).
I am married to Ulrike Maria nee Grosspietsch, born March 7, 1952. We have two children: Kerstin Ternes born October 30 1972 and Christopher Doddridge, born October 2, 1981.
As far as I know, we are the first and up to now the only Doddridges on the continent. It shouldn´t stay that way for long.
