No, I don't know more about Zachariah Shannon than I wrote. Nancy Doddridge Huff mentioned two other Shannon's in her will: Will of Nancy Huff, widow of Joseph Huff (no errors corrected except [,]. "May the 12th 1854. A memorandum of the last will and testament of Nancy Huff, widow of Joseph Huff, dec'd of Tuscarawas County stated in the presence of Joseph D. Smith & his wife, Manerva Shannon & Prudence Robison on the morning of the above named day, she being perfectly sound in mind stated as follows, viz: After paying off all lawful claims and funeral expenses, also paying Amon Shannon and his wife for all of their trouble & expences in keeping and waiting on me in my last sickness, & then I give to Prudence, Charlott & Jemima my three daughters & Rebeca wife of Jacob Huff & Rose Ann wife of James Huff, also Manerva wife of Amon Shannon, one dress each, all to be bought out of my money, then the ballance of the money to be equally divided between Jacob Huff and James Huff[,] my two sons[,] & Joseph Huff son of Jacob Huff, giving one third to each -- I give one light callico quilt & one blanket to Joseph Huff son of Jacob Huff. Then I give my bed & beding to my son James Huff. -- I give my table to Amon Shannon & his wife. -- I give one dark callico quilt to my son Jacob Huff. -- I give my purple callico dress to Mary Morris wife of Joseph Morris. -- I give my silk bonnet to Rebecca Gilpen wife of Samuel Gilpen. Witnesses to the acknowledgement of this instrument to be the last will and testament of Nancy Huff. Joseph D. Smith, Louisa Smith." Also, a Dorinda Shannon married Brady Van Pelt 27 Jan 1853 in Highland County, Ohio. Dorinda's name was often spelled Derunda W. Shannon. Brady married a second time in Oct. 1862. I don't know what happened to Dorinda. That's all I have on the Shannon Family. Notify Administrator about this message?
