Origins of Doddridge name

Do you already have full information on the origins of the Doddridge name in Devon, England (traced back to 12th century) and/or access to the book about the family in Devon, including pictures of the still existing Doddridge Farmstead? Has anyone succeeded in tracing links from the 12th Century Doddridge's to the pre-Roman British tribe known as Durotriges, who inhabited the British country immediately east of Devon, called Dorset? And finally, have any Doddridge's traced their precise link to the DoTTridges, of which I am one and others are descended from a relative who settled in Cape Code c 1810? Regards to all, Mike Dottridge
