From the book "Eighteenth Century Emigrants", A note is found, 'It should be noted that the Stebbach KB was opened in 1708 and a notation indicates that the earlier baptisms, dating from 1675, were entered into this new Tauffbuch from an older book at that time." from the 'Eighteenth Century Emigrants, The Northern Kraichgau', page 90. There is a notation that says: Stebbach Reformed KB: Georg Philips Dodderer and wife Veronica [also given in record as Fronecka] had: 1. Johann-----------[?] [Book taped on margin] b.[baptized] Mar. 21 1697 sp: [sponsor] Hans Michel, son of Hieronymi----------? and Anna Margaretha, daughter of Henrich Schlieffer. 2. Hans Michael b. 1 June 1698 3. Barbara b. 5 June 1701 4. Heinrich b. 9 oct. 1705 5. Fronecke b. 4 Jan. 1708 6. Anna b. 25 Dec. 1709 7. Conrad b. 20 Sept. 1712 [It should be noted that the Stebbach KB was opened in 1708 and a notation indicates that the earlier baptisms, dating from 1675, were entered into this new Tauffbuch from an older book at that time. Pennsylvania records indicated the possibility that the above list is not complete.] Pennsylvania records found in the book, 'Descendants of George Philip Duddra or Dodderer' 1. Michael b. May 1698 [What happened to Johann b. Mar. 21, 1697] 2. Hieronimus b. c 1701 3. Barbara b. ca. 1704 4. Bernard b. ca. 1706 5. Anna Elisabeth 6. Conrad b. Sept 1712 You can see there are some differences in the children and that the name Schlieffer [Schleipfer is close] is listed for perhaps her [Veronica's] sister and father. Maybe that is where they got the information. Is this where you got the info? Or I am I confusing you? Janice
