My ancestor Catherine Dudderoe (b.c. 1806 MD. d after 1850) married Henry Stimmel in MD., daughter Sophia 12-23-1838 in Lewistown, Frederick County MD. I would like to find her origins in a family with a similar name: I have uncovered limited references to the name in Maryland in that era: there was a Tottero family wedding at Evangelical Reformed Church in Frederick in 1795, and census index lists: F. Dudderer, Frederick County, MD. 1810; James Doderell, Baltimore, MD. 1810, John Dettroro, Washington County, MD. 1820.
