This William Henry Dodd SR married first to Elizabeth Martin in Ind. Co AR. Is on the 1860 census. After she & two of the children died, he married Nancy Caroline Six. He left his dau Joanna in care of John Reid (think he was husband of Nancy Martin) and had to sue to get custody back in 1874.
His parents are not Adam & Margaret Dodd of Green Co TN. That William Henry is only 12, ours would have been age 22 in 1850,
I am a descendant through Charlie Lee Dodd, b 1888.
