I am searching for ancesters of William Brown Dodd (or Dod) son of Jocob and Rhoda Brown Dod. They lived in Newark, NJ. William was b. abt 1840. He married my g-aunt in 1896 after his first wife died. He died in 1927 and my aunt in 1950. I have discovered that the person who gave the information for my aunts death certificate gave the incorrect maiden name for her. She was Lillian May Davis and she is listed as Lillian May Crane. Her mother was a Crane. I am not trying to change that. I really am hoping that someone from the Dodd family has some records, pictures or the like. I have a copy of their marriage certificate and of his will.
