Griffin Dodd of Henderson Co TN is thought to have married a Nancy Gilmore of Chatham Co NC. Has anyone considered that Nancy may have been a Moore before the marriage to Mr Gilmore. W H Dodd sold to W J Moore in 1858 a Henderson Co estate record. W H is noted as a grandson of Thomas Moore in this record. Griffin Dodd is two doors from an Elizabeth Moore and a AW Dodd is living with on the 1850 census.
