Hi Settle, Iam trying to help desc.s of Samuel Cope who marr. Elizabeth Covington 1792 Richmond CO NC. I believe this Samuel Cope was born in Queen Anne CO MD and may be the son of George Cope listed on the will of Matthew Dockery 12.22.1753-1.20.1763 Queen Anne CO MD. I bought 2 pamplets on Wills of Queen Anne CO MD and have George Cope listed with Dockery.
Do you have any knowledge of this Cope family listed with the Dockerys'.
