I find this a problem with many researchers and I always advise others that no fact at all is better than an incorrect assumption when creating a history in print. Too many people, in my experience, will accept printed material as fact and repeat it ad nauseum to the dismay of those who have been researching for decades. I had been researching for 20 years when I finally found Riley's death certificate and was hoping that someone on the board would know why he was in SC when he died. Apparently his relative named on the certificate went to SC to return the body to Tenn.
