Will of Elisha Dockrey of NC county of Caldwell. being of sound mind and memory do ordain pulbish and declir [sic]this to be my last will and testament. 1. I bequeath my soul to God who gave it to me. 2. I ordain that all my lawful debts should be paid. 3. I give and bequeath tro my Beloved wife Jane Dockry, the plantation who on I now live with all my personal property during her natural life or widowhood then after her death or widdowhood then I gequeath and give the said plantation and property what is left of it to my beloved daughter Jemina.[I cinhows]? and her children forf ever. 4. I give grant and bequeath unto my daughters Nancy, [P,?] Polly, Fisher,Alsa Williams, Sally Bolick Nelly Herman, Margaret Berry, my plantation known as the Taylor place which is to be sold and the proceeds divided equal between said duaghters. Likewise I make constitue, and appoint Jacob White to be executor of this my last will and testment hereby revoking all former wills by me made in witness where in I have set my hand and caused my seal to be affected.This May the 18th. 1868
