Looking for any information on the family of James Docherty and Jane McCafferty. James was a Chelsea Pensioner and born about 1780-1785. Jane was born about 1800. Children were James b.c. 1820, Jane b.c1822, Margaret born circa 1824(married James Cameron), Rosie b c 1826, John b.c 1828, Susanna b.c 1830, Henry b.c 1833-1835(married Elizabeth Whyte), and Mary Ann born about 1834.
All children born Ireland. John and Henry born in County Armagh. They had all moved to Glasgow by 1841. James senior died in 1857 and was son of John Docherty and Bridget McGuire.
