William Docherty born 22nd August 1864 illegitimately to Helen Needham (Ellen Nedum)and Henry Docherty (Dogherty).
William married Elizabeth Henderson 13 December 1892 in Dalziel Lanarkshire, Elizabeth died 1901.
There were 4 children to this marriage Henry' Agnes 'William & Elizabeth.
William than married Elizabeth Horn 1903 (my grandmother)
6 March 1903 there may have been 3 children to this marriage Archie,Alexander (my father) and there is a George'that I have only heard about.
Although on Williams 2 marriage certificates his mother was stated as Docherty ms Needham I can find no trace of a marriage certificate. I have very little information about my family, and any more would be greatly appreciated.
