My father Charles Docherty was born 1929 in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal (died 1988 Glasgow).
His father was Francis Docherty (died in 1930's) m Mary Gallagher 1928 (died around 1971). They had three children Charles (1929), Patrick(1930), Kay. Mary remarried in around 1943 to Arthur Friel in Letterkenny. They had two children James and Thomas (Tommy).
His father was Charles Docherty m 1886 to Mary Jane McCamley. They had 4 children - Jack, Francis, Kathleen, plus one other brother. I think they lived in Partick, Glasgow.
Do these names show up on anyone else's trees?
