Dobyns of 148 Thank you for responding.Yes I think maybe richard did change his name for his own reasons.I do come from Daniel I noticed that all the dobyns who stayed in VA kept the spelling the same Dobyns and the others who removed to the Carolinas spell it Dobbins.I have found that the children of Richard went to a oldfields school so maybe that has alot to do with it.
