Info on William Dobyns, Arkansas?

I am looking for any kind of information on a William Dobyns, born December 21, 1908, I think it was in Mississippi Co. Arkansas. I don't know anything at all about his family. He was in his 40's when he met my dad (who at the time was around 6 yrs. old) and has lived with him in Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana. William had mentioned of being in Illinois at sometime too. He has lived with us all of these years and we know nothing about his family, strange I know. We don't know why or how he got separated from his family but we want to find them to let them know that he was very well taken care of and loved very much by all of my family. If anyone has any information on him please let me know. Thank you
