I am interested in the North Carolina - Williamson Cty, TN connection. My husband is apparently descended from a Henry Dobson who was born c. 1768, location unknown, and married Jane Unknown. He died June 27, 1823 in Williamson Cty, TN. His son Hugh McWhorten (McWhorter?) Dobson was born in 1792 in NC and married Elizabeth Alexander in Williamson Cty, TN on Dec 26, 1815. Henry's other children included Isabel, Matilda, Amos, and Sarah. Hugh's children included Sarah, Henry Harvey, John Nelson, all born in Williamson Cty, TN. The family moved to Greene Cty, IN, where son Amos was born.
All this info has been obtained from records available on the internet, so I'm not sure of the reliability. Would sure like to know if this could be Henry Baker Dobson or another member of his family.
