Robert Dobson moved to Kingston Upon Hull. He was married to Ann Haddock in York City. Their daughter was Margaret, born in York.

In searching for Robert's parents, I have found two Dobson's in York: George Dobson and a Richard Dobson but have nothing to prove that either is his parent.
