I have a Ralph Dobson born July 1731 and baptised August 1, 1731, who married Isabel Agar on January 1, 1755. Ralph was born in Thrisk, Yorkshire, England. His parent's were Richard Dobson of Redcar, England and Anne Avelson, they got married on September 10, 1728. Anne was Richard's second wife and they only had Ralph. However, Richard's first wife, Margaret Watson, who he married on January 10, 1700, had nine children. Margaret died after giving birth to twins, Margaret was buried July 26, 1724. My line is Richard and Margaret and their son George. This is the only information I have on any Ralphs born in the 18th Century, I do have a few Ralph's in the 19th and 20th Century.
