My Dobsons are found in Scawton, which is near Thirsk, Yorkshire. Elizabeth was born Nov. 7, 1831. She married Peter Fisher Lumley who was from Kilburn, also near Thirsk. Her father was John Dobson, nothing else known of him. Elizabeth and Peter had Ann Lumley, my Great Grandmother. She is buried in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
