Hi Moira,
and thanks for the info you have just sent out to me, I have quite a bit of usefull info which I will send out to you in due course.
I dont know if you heard about the great Wallington Hall in Northumberland?
Our anscestors all lived nearby in Capheaton, and Kirkwhelpington, Northumberland.
My great great great great great Grandfather, married a Mary Phillipson in 1769 in Kirkwhelpington, their first son Michael was born in 1771, and the family tradition of being Catholics was fullfilled when the families were all babtized in the Capheaton Catholic Church.
I have lots more to relate, and will come back to you later.
Meanwhile nice to know We have Relations in Australia.
