Thanks so much for answering my post. My great grandmother was Martha Susan (Susie) Dobson (1854-1925)who was the daughter of Henry and Nancy A (?) Dobson. Henry was born in Georgia, but after marrying spent time in Ala which is where some of their children were born. I am showing Henry and Nancy's children as: Mandy, Lucinda, Nancy, Susan, and William. I found a copy of Joseph Dobson's will in Whitfield Co Georgia, leaving his estate to his three sons, Henry P, Joseph G, and James W. I am hoping that this Henry and "my" Henry are the same. The will also named a daughter, Anny.
I am hoping to validate this assumption as well as locate any info relative to Henry's wife's maiden name. Also info on Joseph's wife's maiden name and family.
If you could help with this information, it would certainly be helpful.
