Since I posted, I have received Hervie Dobson's autobiography.
He states that his father was William Orson Dobson
mother was Zanetta P. Glines
grandfather was William Dobson
grandmother was Lucy Rebecca Olmsted
she was the daughter of Hezekiah Olmsted
(he served in the Revolutionary War in Captain Gameliol Northrop's company)
Hervie's grandfather Glines came from Vermont, his father from Englad Grandfather Glines married Polly Huntoon
Alden H Glines was an uncle
Zanetta died Nov. 12, 1854 His father moved west and left the children with Zanetta's parents. HIs youngest sister lived with Zanetta's sister. His father's sister Polly took care of the rest of the family for a bit until she took them to Galeburg Illinois where William Dobson lived.
One of Hervie's children was named Alden also.
