Looking for info on my gg grandfather James Solomon DOBSON. He was b in 1843 (or 1844) in KY (place unk). He married Mary C. HAWKINS bef 1872, probably in TX. In Jack Co TX land records, there are several DOBSONs listed: Harriet DOBSON, Z. C. DOBSON, and a John R. DOBSON. James named one of his daughter's Harriet. There were 2 other DOBSONs besides James in the 1880 Jack Co census, a J. R. DOBSON and a W. DOBSON, all b in KY, possibly brothers. I'm descended from James' daughter Cynthia Belle DOBSON b 15 Nov 1872 Jack Co? TX, his other children were Harriet, Walter, William Hershel, and Simeon. Any help appreciated!
