Did you possibly have a John Dobson that married an Amelia (Amealey) Lambert in Ga. of Ala. and went to Arkansaw around 1850? Amelia might have died early, because her mother, Esther Lambert left part of her estate in Carroll Co., Ga. to her other children and her adopted son, John Dobson. Amelia, also spelled " Amealey" was not named so I assumed she had died. The date was around 1850. I was told that they had gone to Arkansas, and Polly, her sister, went with them. Any help would be appreciated, Thank you.
