My father's parents lived in Cortland, NY when my father was born in 1915. My grandmother was Eleanor Lucinda Howard. All I know about her side of the family is that her father was Duane Howard and her mother's maiden name was Dobson. My great grand mother's, father's first name is unknown but he married a Dickerson. I was told that her first name might be Ellen but that is not proven. I was also told that she was a Quaker from PA. Might we both be looking for a similar family line?
