After nearly a year more of research, I have discovered that there were two Leander Dobsons. And Leander Hughes Dobson, son of William Polk Dobson, evidently didnt marry. My Leander Dobson was from South Carolina and was the son of John and Nancy Dobson. My Leander was born in 1806 whereas Leander Hughes was born in 1817. Just wanted to correct this. Elizabeth Ashmore
