My Grandmother was Hazel Annie Dobson. She was married to Archibald George Whiteley.
Her great grandfather was William Dobson (married to Ann Richardson) of Pollington Hall, Pollington. George's father and mother were George and Alice Dobson. I dont know anything really about the family in Pollington.
I did get a lot of information from a book called "A goodly Heritage - the Growth and Achievements of a Tasmanian Family", about the Walker family.
