Does anyone have any information on a Dodson/Dotson/Dobson family living in Boone/Lincoln County West Virginia who left two little girls orphaned around 1900?? My Grandmother, Gertie (Gertrude?) Mae Dodson/Dotson/Dobson and her older sister, Ivy, were raised by two different families in that area after their parents died. I don't have any information on those families. My grandmother married around the age of 12/13 to Squire Thompson, then again after his death in 1919, to my grandfather, Edward Hager. If anyone has any information at all on this, it would be very much appreciated!!
