Mary Dobson/ William Moffitt 1700s-1830s

I am looking for Mary Dobson (Dobbs) that was married to William Moffitt/at. I don't know where they came from (maybe MA, CT or VT?), but they moved to NY about 1805 and probably died in the 1820-1830's in New York. I believe they had a son James Moffitt b. 1780's d. 1816 New York and John Moffitt b. 1780's.

Any information would be helpfull.
