Hello Betty Stewart:
Thanks very much for your response to my posting for R. Mawson Dobson and Sarah Godwin.
I know only a little about them except that they were m. 8 April, 1886 in Independence, Montgomery Co., KS. Sarah (a great aunt of mine) was b. 1861 in IN and was a dau. of John B. Godwin: she d. 1938 in Independence and is buried there. Robert Mawson Dobson was b. 1861 in IL and d. 1937 in Independence. According to his obit. he had two brothers named George W. Dobson of McAllen, TX and Frank E. Dobson of Tyro, KS and one sister Elizabeth Smith of Tyro, KS.
I don't see any connection with your Dobsons - do you?
