Capt. John Dobson was killed at the Battle of Ramsour's Mill, 1780, and is buried on the site of the battle in Lincoln, NC. Would like to make contact with some of his descendents. One of his sons, Joseph, m. Mary Gettys, and settled in Greene County, Tennessee. His daughter, Nancy, m. Wallace Alexander, and they are buried beside Capt. Dobson. I descend through his son, John.
