Are you sure of Joseph DOBSON's birthdate and parents? I have Joseph b 1812 in Caldbeck, Cumberland, England, to parents Thomas DOBSON and Mary BULMAN. Thomas and Mary were in the IOM 1825-1828 and moved back to Caldbeck area. Sons, William and Joseph stayed on the Isle, married and raised their families there. Will you sent me details on your information so we can sort it out?
