My Dobson (later spelt Dopson) family I am researching have been found in Kintbury, Berkshire C1720-1900. There were many earlier records of the Dobson name found in Wiltshire, Eng- especially Overton and Marlborough and I am hoping to prove that my Kintbury family came from Wiltshire prior to 1720's. Christian names most popular with this family were FRANCIS, GEORGE, WILLIAM,THOMAS,JOHN, JONATHAN and HENRY.

Any assistance with researching this family would be appreciated.
