Hello James,
I would be very interested in comparing notes with you. My Doble line goes back so far to Tobias Doble born about 1625 in England. According to Massachusetts records, Tobias arrived in Dedham, MA in 1635 and died in Boston, MA in 1670. Who he immigrated with is a mystery.

According family history (in letters from Douglas Doble to Charles Doble) the line has been traced to 1553 in England, but I have not seen any results of the research. I understand the line comes from Devon and Cornish stock.

Any help will be appreciated, and I am more than happy to share what I have with you.
