My grandfather's last name was Doble-Perez and was born in San Sebastian PR. His name was Leopoldo. He was the son of Ana Perez and Francisco Doble. He was one of many brothers and sisters. I know the last name comes from France. History goes that it was a french engineer that came to PR to work in the sugar cane industry and settled in PR. There a two branches of the family, one in San Sebastian and another in Humacao. All are related. In PR all Doble's are related.

Have you conducted any research?
