One of my ancestors was a Mary Doble, who was born in about 1782, probably in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where she lived most of her life. Supposedly, she was the daughter of a Joseph Doble and an Elizabeth Van Horn, but I have no documentation for this other than family tradition. How does this fit with your information? - Michael P.
