Seeking to correspond with anyone having knowledge of the William DOBBS that was married to Melissa HAMMONDS, married sometime in the early 1840s, probably in AL. In 1847, William and Melissa were noted as "residents of Macon County, AL" in her grandfather's will. I have no other info on this couple. Please e-mail me directly, thanks.
