I am also researching Arthur DOBBS, and will share with you what I have. I am interested in the records going back to 1200's. The best I have been able to do is 1551. Unfortunately everything I have indicates Arthur DOBBS left no heirs in the U.S. But a Kedar DOBBS VA Rev. War Veteran is supposed to have,as an ancestor, a brother to Arthur DOBBS. I trace our tree back to Fortune and Forlin DOBBS (twins) b.1727 Carrickfergus Antrim Ireland. While there is supposed to be kinship, no one has ever documented relationship to Arthur DOBBS.
