Hi, Glad to have found this site. My husband is the Dobbs. And he is a descendant of George Lee Dobbs who moved to Weatherford Texas in Parker County. I would love to hear your connection to James. I have been stumped at this point also. My information showed he was born in North Carolina. you may be right. things get a little fuzzy about then.
