I am a descendant of Cyrus Dobbs who was born in North Carolina abt 1788. He moved to Alabama and then to Red River County, TX.
His children wer Martha Elizabeth, Henry R. (b. 1836), William C., Marget Emily, Marion F., Matild, C.Ransom, and S.P.
Cyrus had a brother named Silas who received an adjoining land grant in Red River Co. Perhaps Silas is Reuben's father. I don't know any
of Silas's children's names.
