William Dobbs father and Rebecca Dobbs daughter

I am seeking help with William Dobbs or Wayne County, Ky whose
daughter Rebekah married James Lasley in 1809. In the early 1840's
William Dobbs deed landed to a son ? Dobbs and to James and
Rebecca Lasley in Johnson County, Illinois. In the 1850 census in
Illinois, William Dobbs is listed as 88 years of age and born in North
Carolina. I would like to connect with anyone who might know about this
family. Ellender Lasley, born 1821 in Wayne County, KY married
first Simeon Ford who died, and second Lawrence William Fern in
Johnson County Illinois. My grandmother Esther Frances Fern, their
youngest child was born in 1865, and married Robert Alfred Willis
in 1880.
