There is a book that traces the Dobbs ancestry back to Ireland. And includes quite a few of the names I have seen posted here. The title of this book is: Dobbs Family History by Mary Margaret Dobbs (McCaslin) Ward. I have copied pages from this book which I found in two different libraries. :The LDS Family History Center, Salt Lake City, Utah. And the Philadelphia Historical Museum and Library, Philadelphia,Penn. My husband thought he saw it in the Bi-Centennial Library in Chattanooga, Tenn.
