I have Louisa born Oct6,1829 in Shellbyville, Bedford Co, TN.died April 4, 1891 in Yukon, Texas CO, Mo. Buried in Allen Cemetery. Do you have any information on the possibility/ probability of her being of Indian descent. She married Aug 11, 1844, don`t know location of marriage. She had 12 children that I know of: Louisa, John, Sarah, Samuel, James, Mary, Margaret. Marthy, Jefferson Davis & Caroline. Note: Her father was on the Union side as were her brothers yet she named a son Jefferson Davis ,interesting.
