Okay guys, here's what I have according to my dad. He's been around awhile, and is the grandson of George Washington Will Dobbs.
George Washington Will Dobbs m. Margaret Barnes a full blooded Cherokee woman.
Children:
Thomas Monty Dobbs-My Grandpa-I have pictures
Lilburn Dobbs-possibly shot and killed over a watermelon patch in Shawnee OK
William-I have a photo of him
Nancy-married a Hufstadler
Girl-couldn't remember the name, but Joe said that was Ida.
Grandpa George was shot in the back after the civil war after making a statement concerning "cleanin' out those carpetbaggers"
Grandma Margaret married a "small frenchmen" by the name of LaRue after that and resided around Donophan MO.
Dad believed that William had "gaggles" of kids too, but wasn't sure on names.
Burial for Thomas Monty Dobbs was made in Stranger's Home Arkansas near Alicia AR.
