Does anyone know of Dobbs family living in Virginia in 1750 to 1800's? John Ratliff was born in Virginia in 1750 and he married Annie Dobbs. They had their first son in 1780. Someone had the info of William Drewry Dobbs born
4-7-1816 and died 1876 in Virginia. That doesn't link him up with Annie. However, one of William's sons is Rev. Chas Edwin Willoughby Dobbs, also born in Virginia, 8-12-1840. One of the Reverend's daughters was named Annie and she was born 7-28-1874. Would it be possible that he named her after someone in his ancestry? Deb :)
