I have the following siblings to CEW Dobbs:
Ann E, William W, Martha A, George H, Mary F, Eliza A, and Claudius C
This information was compiled from the 1850 and 1860 census records of Norfolk and Portsmouth Virginia
I know Leslie Edwin or Earnest is a son of CEW Dobbs. This is the grandfather of Juanita. I have many of her notes on him. I sent a copy of the earlier email and will send this also. I am to meet with her Monday probably.
Also the Florence I mentioned earlier was not Mattie Florence, daughter of CEW, but the daughter of Leslie by a first marriage (I do not have her name). They had the following children Helen, Florence, and Gilbert. These were half siblings to Juanita’s father John Jasper Dobbs in his marriage to Lola Edna Buchannan. They had Charles Melvin, Edna Mable, Leslie Earnest Jr, and John Jasper.
Helen Dobbs, b Oct 1886, married Otto Miles and had Harold and Betty Miles. Florence Dobbs, b Dec 1889 d. 1922 married Fred Maas (some of the notes have Moss but the census in Indianapolis has Maas). They had Gerald and Caroline Maas.
At least one of the 4 children from the girls marriages is still living in Indiana.
