I have found that George Washington Will Dobbs was actually a resident of Missouri, Donophan...in the Ozarks. He was shot in the back while working a field a short time after the end of the civil war.

His wife, Margaret Barnes was a full blooded Cheerokee. She went on to marry a man by the surname of Larue.

Other children of George included:
William
Lilburn-I'm not sure of the spelling
Nancy-went on to mary a Huffstadler- also not sure on the spelling...

Any info would be great!
