Dobbs-I REALLY NEED need help

I've just started researching genealogy and know very little about my Dobbs branch. The oldest name I have is:

GEORGE WASHINGTON WILL DOBBS

He is my great-granfather. I don't know where he's from or the dates he lived...I do know that at some point he married MARGRET BARNES and had at least one son:

THOMAS MONTY DOBBS

I know he was married several times, but the only name I've found so far is SARAH ELIZABETH "BETSY" STALKNER. They had a large family. I know the names of two sons:

MAC DOBBS
BOYCE THOMAS DOBBS-my dad born Sept 24, 1919

I know THOMAS MONTY resided in and around Walnut Ridge/Hoxie/Stranger's Home/Alicia Arkansas. He is buried at Crowley's ridge in the family plot.

I'd like to be able to trace the line all the way back to the originating country.

All possible help would be greatly appreciated.
