Hi, my name is Kira Doan Rickabaugh and I too am searching for a Jesse Doan who was born in Upper Canada around 1807. Not sure about the date. He married Catherine Slauter who was born in New York. Jesse is my great, great grandfather. Jesse's son, my great grandfather was Isaac S. Doan . He was born in Warren County Indiana in 1840 and Isaac married Mary Lucretia Peugh and to them was born my grandfather Harry E. Doan.
I have other information forward but am trying to find Jesse's parents, that I think may be Naomi and Thomas Doan who were burried in MaCabe Cementery in Warren County Indiana. I am looking for any kind of records that will link my family together. Thanks again. Kira
